It has been photocopied (albeit in color) in a Hindi movie named - Ek Ruka Hua Faisla (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0157571/)
Even though it has picked up the story plot, characterization, suspense everything yet I like the movie because of some masterpiece acting by Pankaj and Annu Kapoor. There is also that person I dont remember the name, he played some head of the family in saas bahu saga. He is also a good actor
